Description

The Puerto Rico Museum of Art (MAPR) receives donations and sponsorships from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Each contribution directly supports our programming, operation, and our offer of services to the community.

MAPR, the cultural heritage of all Puerto Ricans, opened its doors 19 years ago with the mission of making knowledge, appreciation, and enjoyment of the visual arts of Puerto Rico and the world accessible. Since then, the Museum has received more than 2 million visitors and has produced more than a hundred individual and group exhibitions by local and international artists, as well as multiple and varied workshops, courses, research seminars, and educational programs. Likewise, he has held concerts, readings, and symposia, among others, that have impacted the different audiences and positively influenced the lives of thousands of students, teachers, families, and members of the community.

You can direct your donation to an educational program, an exhibition, the operation, and maintenance of our facilities, a special event, the acquisition of a work of art or you can sponsor one of our exhibition galleries.

For more information, you can contact Myrna Pérez, Director of the Development and Membership Department, by calling 787-376-4313 or writing to mperez@mapr.org.
